I'm usually cautious about these type of programs but I am happy to say this one really worked for me. I am in my mid 40's and I'm an active cyclist, runner and like to ski. I wanted to find another way to keep my legs in cycling shape during the off season. Over the last few years I've also started to experience knee pain without ever really injuring it. I read article in Bicycling magazine and then Jacques book. I ended up having some follow up questions so I reached out to Jacques directly and to my surprise he responded. He was able to clarify some of his philosophies and exercises. I committed to following his program (2 workouts a week) for 3 months. After a few weeks of being pretty sore I started to see immediate results. Most importantly my knee pain started to go away. I was able to ski free of pain for the first time in 2 years. Towards the end of the 3 months I noticed I was climbing stronger, spinning with more power and running faster. My only challenge/suggestion is to make sure you keep up your cardio during the program. It can be tough because your legs are crushed after the workout for the a few days and squeezing in Cardio is rough but needed. I'm going to continue to do his workouts once a week during the regular season moving forward.
